Nicole M
Did y'all see this article a year ago? It made me giggle. Timely. A nocturnal animal, homo studentus is rarely glimpsed before mid-afternoon. Observers are warned: Do not attempt to disturb it before it awakens, as it can become hostile. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2010-01-11/news/1001100228_1_creature-species-observers
Kareni
That was good for a chuckle, Nicole. I hope you're enjoying having your son home on his long winter break! (or would that be long winter nap??) Someone should be arriving home here on Monday .... Regards, Kareni

Nicole M
Loved the "feeding stations," too! Kareni, yes, I'm glad to have my boy home, though it is true that I communicated with him more when he was at school than now. One of my colleagues had to assure me (before I found this helpful article) that the sleeping and sleeping and sleeping was normal.

Jane in NC
He returned yesterday! Just having the boy asleep under our roof again brings great joy. Between finals and flight cancellations in the Midwest, he is one exhausted camper. And I am one happy Mom. :D Jane
creekland
We got our guy last night too. It is a nice feeling! He's still sleeping, of course, but will have to get up soon so we can get pictures taken of us all for Great Grandma's Christmas request.
