Emmy
I'd like to buy the LOTR books on audio for my kids for christmas but there seem to be different options available. I had heard that there was a really great one out there - anyone know which one that is? :001_smile:
Gratia271
We like this one with Rob Inglis. Here is a listing for separate titles.

Lizzie in Ma
The only unabridged ones are the ones with Rob Inglais. He has been reading to me at bedtime for years. :)
Caitilin
Just to be difficult, I have to say that I HATE the Rob Inglis version--he has one of those British accents that makes me want to stop the CD and tell him to go blow his nose! I LOVE LOTR, and I have been listening to audio versions my entire life (like, since age 4!) but my favorite is the BBC radio drama--it's 13 episodes, and very well done. That said, if Recorded Books would do an unabridged version with a different reader, I'd be all over that. :D
