Ohdanigirl
I just recieved a copy yesterday, but I am away from home and my copy of TWTM. I am trying to decide what we will cover. There seems to be so much. What should we definately schedule? How many was it again? Would it be a good idea to cover things in a paticular order/grouping? What do you all think? BTW we school year round, and will be focusing on the sea shore/tide pools and all the life to be found there this summer. I won't be back home for a few weeks and would like to plan this out and get started. Thanks. Danielle P.S. Ds loves this book already. I found him up at 6A.M. looking through it.:D
Aurelia
I would study the animals my child had the most interest in. Because there's an interest, the information is more likely to be retained and this approach is what's recommended in WTM. SWB recommends spending about 20 weeks on animals. Yes, ds and I are choosing them together. He wants to do it all though. Is that 1 per week or two? I think I need to run to the local library and see if they have a copy of WTM. Thanks.
