lincap
We have a deep fryer that we used once or twice in 2004. The other day my oldest asked if we could make corndogs. So I figured I would dig out the old deep fryer and buy a gallon of veg oil! My question is this: Can I re-use the oil, if I fry corndogs today can I use the oil for something else tomorrow? How would I store the oil if I can reuse it? Thanks!
secular_mom
I just leave the oil in my fryer until it looks like it needs to be changed. We mainly use it for fries, but if we ever cook something crumbly like chicken fingers or shrimp in it the oil needs to be changed sooner than if we are only cooking fries in it.
