Mergath Posted December 1, 2012 Share Posted December 1, 2012 We only got into the longer books this year, but so far the classics we've done are: James and the Giant Peach Little House in the Big Woods Farmer Boy A Bear Called Paddington (I've also read her a couple of the Enchanted Forest Books by Patricia C. These are not classics but they are decent length chapter books (180 pages range of adult size print) without pictures. I think my stepmother is getting him "little house in the big woods" for Christmas so we will read that. I try and read while ds3.5 is in the bath although the last couple of nights he has listened and only asked questions about the book.
