mamapjama
I was just googling Candy cane craft and along with a bunch of photos of said craft, the perimeter of my screen was inundated with horrible photos. Really bad ones :ack2: How do I set Internet Explorer to block this stuff? Thank goodness my kids had just left the room :(
SailorMom
Internet Explorer has parental controls - but they aren't very good. You can enbalke the pop-up blocker, but again, things get through..... Go to "Tools" on the right hand side of your page for the pop-ups, and the parental controls. LauraGB
I have no idea how helpful this is, but on the bottom of my screen (I'm running Windows 7) in the bar with the text resizer there are the words "Protected Mode". Double click that and it brings up a security window where you can adjust the level of filtering. Gosh, you know, I wonder why there is so much ick out there. I mean, I have to believe many (if not most) just don't want it. What's the point? There are so many things I just don't understand.
