runningirl71
We used Puffin Classics The Canterbury Tales Retold by Geraldine McCaughrean. We ended up not doing Inferno as I wanted to check out the audio cd from the library, and then our library didn't carry it! I didn't have it together enough to check the library first BEFORE ordering books! So, I substituted CS Lewis' The Great Divorce since that it also focused on hell but with heaven included. I'll be watching this thread to see who has done Inferno with their kids though. I think it is a very important book to study, since it has been influential on the western view of hell. Lisawa
We enjoyed Barbara Choens version of Canterburry Tales
Hoggirl
Dante's Divine Comedy as Told for Young People by Joseph Tusiani, but I don't know if it is any good or not as I plan on using it next year. I believe this same author has the same format for the Inferno. Again, I know nothing about it.
whitestavern
We are currently reading a Special Edition for Young Readers that was adapted by A. Kent and Constance Hieatt. We are really enjoying it!
