HappyGrace
We will be traveling, house guests, holiday activities, etc., throughout Dec and I'd like to start Jan 2, but I want them to have their feedback in a timely manner. I figured other people might be having issues due to their holiday schedule. How are you handling it? Would starting first thing in Jan be too late? Is anyone else starting in Jan? I just emailed them, but thought I'd ck what others are doing about this. (Xpost) Edited December 5, 2010 by HappyGrace
JudoMom
I'd love to hear what they say when you get an answer :). I've been trying to figure out how to handle it as well.
HappyGrace
Yes, it looks wonderful and I want to do it justice, and I feel if we work on it this month, it will be rushed, crammed in, etc.
Capt_Uhura
I plan to read through it tomorrow to give my initial comments. I'll make the decision then. I will likely start now though as we're heavy into outlining at the moment.
HappyGrace
We school year round, and tend to take Dec and Aug as our big breaks, thus all the traveling, etc. I figured I should clarify my OP so you know we're not slackers :)
Susan Wise Bauer
Oh my goodness, take the holiday OFF and give us your feedback whenever you get back to school! Please don't make your dc hate writing. Or me. SWB
HappyGrace
Thanks, Susan! :D Dd could never hate you-she is in fact begging me to take her with me to the Philly convention so she can meet you and get your autograph. She told me she is "honored" to be beta testing for you. Thank you for the opportunity! :)

(Xpost) Between moving before Christmas and then leaving my kids with family for a month to go house hunt, our ability to test these lessons got pushed to the back burner. Just finished up the fourth week of lessons from the second sample set. What a great bunch of lessons. I can see my kids actually able to outline and write in a couple of their other subjects. :hurray: Califlower actually did a credible chronological outline from three pages in The Story of Civilization for a report on Thomas a Becket. And I'm getting a lot less complaining about outlining and writing than I was six months ago, when we started going with more WTM history approaches. So how tardy were we? Did I completely miss a third set of lesson samples?

Capt_Uhura
I haven't either. I can't wait to see the entire thing! We finished it about a month or so ago.
