Elaine Posted December 4, 2010 Share Posted December 4, 2010 I am organizing the 2011 8th grade graduation ceremonies and I am wondering what kinds of things you guys have done. I know it is early, but I want to have all of my ducks in a row.:001_smile: I was thinking of having the dads present the kids with their diplomas, doing a slide show of the kids from birth til now (about 8 pictures each) and asking the kids to say something. Chris in VA Posted December 4, 2010 Share Posted December 4, 2010 Well, I just want to say that maybe you should think about saving the big stuff, like slide shows and whatnot, until they graduate from high school, which is a bigger deal. Just a nice little speech as they get their "diploma" would be enough, with refreshments, imo. We just didn't have 8th grade graduations back in the day! LOL Old fogey, here.
