Indygirl
If you use HOD Preparing do you supplement with anything or do you feel it is complete just the way it is? What do you like to add to make it more complete (I guess more WTM'ish)? I am thinking of using this next year with my oldest. You can see below what we are using now. I think we will be switching (next year) to R&S 4 and Saxon 5/4. Thanks.
mothergooseof4
Honestly, I don't think it needs any supplementing. I couldn't fit in everything in the guide to begin with. Some will say the science is weak, but it was just right for us.

Mississippi Mama
This is an old post but I'm bumping it up to see if anyone chimes in...
ChicoryChick
I don't think so. Like a pp mentioned you might want to add to the science if you are a strong science family but it was enough for us. The schedule is for a 4 day week so that gives you time ti add art appreciation, music etc.
Edwena
We are using Preparing this coming year. I have read through the whole manual though (I know nerdy, right?), but it seems very full to me.
Homeschooling6
Nope, with that being said, I do add things as I'm a part of the Schoolhouse Review Crew. For instance, when I was reviewing a Bible program, I stopped using HOD's Bible portion/box. If it wasn't for the reviews I wouldn't add a thing. Preparing is pretty full. Before I was a reviewing I did use it as is (although I did add AAS because my boys are late readers and I wanted to make sure they had extra learning in that area)
