Manhattan_Mom
Just got two 16 ½" x 12" light panels as a surprise gift. Any suggestions for activities? Our boys are 1 (on Friday! Woot!) and 2.5 years old. Of course, they are not toys and so I will supervise all activities. Would love to hear your thoughts. New to this forum. MomOfOneFunOne
I'm not sure what your talking about but if you mean something that can be used to write on, this is how we use ours. I print pictures and put the page on the light box, I trace onto fabric and embroider. Your kids could copy and color or just trace. I print off lines or use lined writing paper and let my daughter write using the shadow lines instead of using lined paper. For (both of) us this is especially useful for thank you notes but your kids could use it for any writing practice. My daughter has these little wet balls she loves to play with and making mosaics on that. Sorry, I don't know what those balls are called. THey're little beeds added to water and then they grow. BTW, would make a great stocking stuffer. I think it was about $6. Oh, my daughter says they're Orbeez.

Chris in VA
If it's a lighted, flat surface, you can spread colored sand from the craft store on it and have them play. There are lots of youtube videos on this.
