mcconnellboys
It has finally cooled down here, although Thanksgiving Day was weird. It was in the 60's all day, then began raining that evening. By the next morning, the rain had changed over to ice, then snow. I wonder how all the middle of the night shoppers fared with the roads like that.... My church hosted our first Room at the Inn night last night and a couple of the guys were talking about being out the past two nights. It had snowed again a little the first of those and there was a heavy frost the second. I'm so glad to have a home, any home, to live in! Parrothead
It is dark here already so the temps fell 29*F.
Unicorn.
Predicted high was 76. By noon it was already 80. Yuck.
TXMomof4
We started off warming up to the upper 40s, but it's fallen down to around 30 again. I don't do well with extended cold temps. I like periodic cold followed by 50s and 60s for a few weeks. BTW: I'm not in TX anymore.
Garga
Sitting in my house with a hood up, my turtleneck up to my nose, and a blanket wrapped around me. And I'm still cold. I don't like it. It got up to the high 40's today, but it's dropped again now that the sun is down.

elegantlion
50 degrees, supposed to get to 25 tonight. Too darn cold for me. I'm not in the south anymore either. My toes are freezing and I'm not sure if I have any clean socks, I'm not used to wearing socks this early.
Peela
Approximately 100F here for several days- a heat wave. :) Feels hot for November though. If its this hot now, whats the rest of summer going to be like?
AuntieM
Freezing And I fear I will be from now until Father's Day. I miss the south.

I do better when it gets cold, and stays cold, so my body can adjust.
Spy Car
It is unusually cold here in Southern California. Don't laugh, it is 61 degrees f. People are walking around with their teeth chattering they are so cold. The sun is warm, the sky is clear and I think it is a very lovely day. I think they're seriously considering hibernation.
Dandelion
FREEZING. It's 18 degrees right now (per the Weather Channel, it "feels like 1 degree" due to the windchill). We've got several inches of snow on our property that will now stick around (and accumulate another foot or two) until late April/May. I'm wearing multiple layers, have the heat turned up, and am still walking around shivering... My 2yo on the other hand just asked for ice cream... :001_huh:
Jenny Piaaree
Nice, cool weather has arrived here. It's 52* now, and should drop to 34* overnight. My backyard pond froze last night - not a common occurrence around here.
Jean in Newcastle
43F. Not too bad but I can't exercise and move around right now so it feels cold to me. Plus it's damp and that dampness just goes right through you.
holdoll
Right now we're at 24 degrees going down to 13 tonight. With a "real feel" of 8. Brrrrrrrr!!! It's going to be a long winter. :glare:
Jennifer in MI
Today it was gorgeous for MI in November! It must have been in the 50s. I run in shorts when it's in the 50s!!! I love it! At night, it gets below freezing. This week it's supposed to be in the 50s all week! I'm ready for some snow!!!!!
