Guest momk2000 Posted November 27, 2010 Share Posted November 27, 2010 We will be doing MFW CTG next year for 5th and plan to continue through the rest of the cycle. Has anyone gone through the MFW cycle without doing ECC? We tried ECC last year and didn't like it at all. Will we need to supplement with Geography lessons? Guest momk2000 Posted November 28, 2010 Share Posted November 28, 2010 We did Adventures in grade 2 (which we loved), and then tried ECC for grade 3. ECC was just a little overwhelming (maybe a llittle more for me than dd). There were just so many books/workbooks to go between and I started to feel so disorganized. We decided to pass on ECC and do a little more American History. ECC is a great program and a lot of people love it, please don't let my experience steer you away. I love the idea of ECC, it just didn't work out for us. I have some health issues where I have good days and bad days, so it just may have been too much for me to handle.
