Sahamamama
I have been looking for a Laura Ingalls-style dress pattern for my girls, so we can sew some "pioneer" dresses & pinafores & petticoats next year. I am not having any success. Although there are plenty of websites with DIRECTIONS :tongue_smilie:, I can't seem to find an actual PATTERN (for free OR for sale). I just can't find anything, and I'm not usually this daft. While the sites that offer directions are nice, trust me, we need a pattern! Any links or ideas? :bigear: Three little girls are counting on us! orangearrow
Adult: http://mccallpattern.mccall.com/m4548-products-6154.php?page_id=915 I've used the pattern below many, many times and can practically sew it in my sleep. It is ADORABLE!!!! :001_wub: Note that it does have a lot of buttonholes (the pattern uses drawstrings instead of elastic), but if your machine has an automatic buttonholer, they are a cinch!!! http://mccallpattern.mccall.com/m4547-products-6153.php?page_id=915 Children/Adult: http://mccallpattern.mccall.com/m6140-products-11154.php?page_id=915 Edited November 24, 2010 by orangearrow

I bought one at Walmart a couple of years ago even with the red flowered fabric she wears in the show!!! If you can't find it, pm me after Thanksgiving and I'll direct you some more. Michelle My Bell
Please look at the Kings Daughters. Their dresses / pinafores / aprons & bonnets would be PERFECT for this. I have made several of their dresses and they are very easy to follow and very well done.

FIVE!! Oh my goodness, my baby has grown up. *sniff* Anyway....it was adorable. It was passed from my dd to our neighbor girl, who gave it to a friend, whose little sister wore it for Halloween this year. Cat
