Skiing at Whistler Mtn.?

So, we're looking at possibly going to Whistler Mtn. to ski.

 

Any advice on great places to stay? How's the skiing there? Family friendly?

I haven't been there since before kids, but I think it's a great place to ski. It's an Intrawest Resort, and they usually do a great job. The village is wonderful. I think we stayed at Whistler Mountain Lodge, maybe? It was very nice.

 

The mountain is huge. Last time we were there they had teh top half closed because of avalanche threat. We still had a hard time covering the mountain.

 

It's a beautiful spot. Enjoy!
