Suzanne in ABQ
Thanks. We were happy with Lowe's price, delivery, set-up, and within-warranty service call (when I accidentally washed a glass "gem" and it fell through the door seal into the guts of the washer). Even though we live more than 30 miles away from the store (in the country), there was no charge for the service guy to come out and check the washer and tell me everything is fine (the washer has a special tray just to catch little things like that). :)
Joker
Home Depot has some really good deals going on right now. We just purchased new front loaders from them and got a really good deal. They said they are having early Black Friday sales. Delivery and haul-away of our old appliances was free.
Amy loves Bud
Thanks. Not sure where in TX you are, but if you are in the DFW area, I recommend Rodenbaugh's in Allen. They have a main store and an outlet. The outlet is awesome - deals on scratch and dent as well as last year's models. The main store is great, too. Their service is excellent. It's where we get all our appliances.
OnTheBrink
IMHO, a locally owned appliance store. I've found that I can actually negotiate a price and I've found the customer service to be better because smaller, non-huge-conglomerate stores are fare more dependent on making and keeping customers than places like Lowe's or Home Depot.
