Guest blankville
My son is doing LL7 on his own this year. We are considering teaching LL8 as a co-op next year and wondered if anyone was doing this. Would love any tips or to see what your weekly class "looks" like. Thanks wendy
SkateLeft
My oldest daughter is doing something that's more of a "Lightning Lit Book Club" than a co-op. We know a few other families who are using LL high school Amer Lit, and although we're not really using LL, we are reading many of the same books and in the same order. So every couple of weeks for about two hours, my daughter gets together with the other kids and their moms to talk about the books. One of the moms leads the discussion, using questions from the back of the LL guide, and other discussion questions she finds online. They might share any writing assignments they've done. Then they have a treat, and maybe watch a movie version of the book, etc. It's nice, easy and fun. :)
