cdrumm4448
Title should say INTERNET I have a wired broadband internet connection and it needs to stay that way. I just bought a PanDigital Novel e-reader and it won't work without wi-fi (I should be able to import PDFs via the USB cable, but it isn't working for some reason.) So, I would like to piggyback a wireless router to my wired router, if that's possible. The girl at RadioShack had no idea what I was talking about. Certainly this has been done before? Anyway, the wired router is a Linkysys with Ethernet and USB (the Ethernet port is currently being used by my desktop.) Someone please help me. I'm totally clueless! MyThreeSons
I have a Linksys router that I use for both wired and wireless connections. The desktop is wired, the laptop picks up the wireless. Do you have BestBuy store near you? Their sales people are usually quite helpful.
Sandy in Indy
My wireless router actually has 4 ports for wired connections. I think you just need a new router.
Tylianna
I agree with the above! My router is wireless for the Wii and my iPod, but my computer and Xbox are wired. All on the same router.
