cathmom
Or is it all just available online?
Chris in VA
VCU is just online. I don't know about others.
AngieW in Texas
Our community college sends paper grades home.
Brenda in MA
Both our CC and my son's current college do not send paper grades any more. It's all on-line. Brenda
K-FL
:iagree: Both dd#1's private U & the local cc--all on line. Since I have my dc passwords for the cc, that's not a problem, but I don't for dd#1. I have to wait until she comes home to see them. (I don't worry about her grades though.) JFSinIL
Even if they did, the student would have had to sign off beforehand - privacy, you know. :glare: I made my home-on-break (quarter system here) son go on-line and find his grades yesterday. He would have had straight As except he fell asleep in his chem. final.....:glare:
distancia
Both of DD's community colleges send grades ONLY online.
QueenCat
Between my son, my husband and I, we currently attend three colleges. All grades are online, none are available on paper. We have to print them to submit to dh's company for the dependents scholarships.
Hannah C.
My grades have always just been online. We have midterm pass/fail reports, and if you are failing a class you get paper notification, but otherwise it's all online. I think you may be able to request paper grades..but I'm not sure... In TX at the very least, college students have to sign a release form for the school to be able to give their parents their grades. I'm not sure if those grades are mailed or put online. My parents didn't care if I signed the paper or not, and I always tell them what my grades are anyway.

cathmom
I didn't mean mailing them to the parents, I meant mailing a copy to the student. It appears that most colleges don't anymore. Thanks!
dm379
Even when I started college 10 yrs. ago it was all online. All the ones I've attended (4) and worked for (3) are online too unless you request otherwise.
Tullia
My son attends a New Mexico community college--all grades and unofficial transcripts are online, but you can request a paper official transcript.
