praisefor3
http://www.basspro.com/HitchnRide-Auto-Hitch-Hauler/product/104496/-1560176 We used to travel in our full size conversion van. Now we have a Honda Pilot with much less interior space. We were thinking about getting one of these racks to put some luggage on. Just wondering if anyone has one or has used one and what you thought.
kfeusse
we have and have used it on the back of our van. We have 2 large plastic totes and a stretchy net thing to go over the top of it....we love it...it adds just enough extra space. This spring we plan to put it on the back of our pop up camper too. I've seen them at Wal-Mart, for less than $100 I think. It comes in very handy. We have a plastic tub that fits on it really well. When we're travelling, we keep our hotel stuff in the tub and just carry the whole thing in when we stop. We have a hitch pin that locks, so we just leave the cargo carrier locked to the van overnight at hotels. We've never had anything get wet when driving in rain, but we put everything in garbage bags just in case.
sparrow
No, but I tore my shin open on one in a dark parking lot and now have an unnatural aversion to them. Just opening your link gave me a chill! We have one of the soft bodied rooftop carriers from Cabela's. We love it!
