myfunnybunch
My son has decided he'd like to audition for a musical theater production put on by a local children's theater. We have NO experience with this. What should he wear if we don't want to go out and buy special clothing? Cat
Aurelia
Clean sneakers and comfortable/stretchy clothing. Perhaps sweat pants and a t-shirt that's not raggedy.
Sasharowan
Ds9 auditioned 2x now and everyone mostly just wore school type clothes. Shorts or pants and T's. All they wear for rehearsal is comfy clothes that allow movement.
Mejane
Agree with the pps about the clothes, but you might consider dance shoes. Sneakers are difficult to dance in, especially the big, bulky ones most kids wear nowadays. Some soft ballet shoes would work, and they're only around $15 or so. OrganicAnn
I would also suggest dark pants and a white or light colored shirt.
