Crimson Wife
I had to return my TM for Practice Town when we switched charters in June. I didn't bother buying another one as we were >3/4 the way through the book and most of the time I didn't really need it. Unfortunately, yesterday was one of those times where I *DID* run into trouble. DD was confused, and DH & I disagreed about the parts of speech and identifying the subjects of the 2 clauses. Sentence #89 reads: Why is he here, and where is that antidote? Are "why" and "where" adverbs modifying the verb "is" or are they interrogative pronouns? Are the subjects "he" and "antidote" or are the subjects "why" and "where"?
