Doodle
I just read to Doodle Pardon That Turkey: How Thanksgiving Became A Holiday. It is about Sarah Hale and her role in getting Thanksgiving declared a National holiday. Here is part of the beginning of chapter 2. "Newport was a very small settlement, and the school was not very good, so Sarah's mother taught her children at home. Sarah learned a great deal from her that girls were not usually taught in those days."
