I am severely art challenged and these are art projects my kids can actually do with a minimum of art supplies, that actually follow Egypt and Mesopotamia. She has a whole series of books which can be found at this web site: http://www.hands-on.com/ho_ancient_v2.html You might want to try to get a copy at your local library since they are pricey.
