Pam L.
Hello, I am helping a 10 year old friend to plan a girl's overnight retreat in the spring. I am looking for a Christian movie to view for the group (for both entertainment and "teaching" purposes). I have looked at the CBD catalog and several could be appropriate - but I am hesitant to purchase any without being familiar with them. One that sticks out is "Mandie and the Secret Tunnel" Anybody have any ideas or recommendaitons? This will be for about 20 girls aged 8-12. Thanks! TXMomof4
I don't know about specifically Christian movies, but I would think any of the American Girl movies would work. My girls all love them - my personal fave is Molly, but the girls like Felicity better.

Off to Netflix.

She's the WWII doll, right? I think I'm right. It's a tear-jerker.

I grew up by my grandfather's side, watching old black & white and Shirley Temple movies on Sunday afternoon TV, listening to his stories of the depression, and then the war etc. Molly felt like an old friend. I don't own her, but I want her. She somehow became my link to my grandfather...

Miss Sherry
Anne of Green Gables is wonderful. It's not specifically christian but there is not anything objectionable in it.
Pam L.
Thank you ladies! I love these suggestions. I too love the Anne of Green Gables movies! And I have Ociee Nash on order at the library to preview. I will preview as many movies as I see fit before the big day.
