Guest
Not having seen a copy of either IRL, what is the difference in these editions? Are the other levels going to get a revision as well? If so, when? Thanks!

ladydusk
Here's a review of the differences between editions. I haven't heard that PHP is going to update 3 & 4, but that doesn't mean anything.
Jane Elliot
I used the old FLL through Lesson 112, then switched to the new FLL 2. All I have to say so far is that the new one is a *lot* easier on my old eyes.
Guest
Thank you, Dawn and Luann. That answered my question perfectly. Now I just need to know when to start it while using OPGTR.

Jane Elliot
Thank you, Dawn and Luann. That answered my question perfectly. Now I just need to know when to start it while using OPGTR. At the Peacehill Press website, there's a FAQ for OPGTR in which they suggest a good time to start FLL. Unless they've changed it in the past few years, it's at lesson 140. In my copy of OPGTR I have "Start FLL now" written over Lesson 140 and "Start Spelling now" written over Lesson 115.

Luann, is the spelling recommendation from SWB as well?
Jane Elliot
Luann, is the spelling recommendation from SWB as well? Yes, I got both recommendations off the FAQ at Peacehill Press a couple years ago. ETA: I found it still there -- http://www.welltrainedmind.com/store/frequently-asked-questions?___store=default Edited November 3, 2010 by Luann in ID
Guest
Thank you once again, Luann. I am going to mark my book now along with printing that FAQ page.
