PinkInTheBlue
I have a huge pork loin in my refrigerator that has a "sell by" date of a few days ago. (about 4) Surely that doesn't mean I shouldn't cook it? Is it safe to "age" a pork in the fridge like great steak restaurants age steaks? :)
Parrothead
My rule is to cook it or freeze it within 5 days (after) of the sell by date.
K&Rs Mom
I'd cook or freeze it in the next couple of days, but wouldn't throw it out at 4 days past sell-by.
