I'd toss it into the air, it would flap a bit, and then gradually flop back down to the ground. I asked her, "Hmmm. Do you think you were the baby eagle and I'm trying to get you to grow up too quickly?" My Aspie: "Mom, you know I don't have metaphorical dreams."
