HWT teacher's guide?

Would you say that the HWT teacher's guide is helpful for a child struggling with writing?

My DD is 7 and handwriting is a bit of a struggle (has been since we started in Pre-K).

She is using Zaner-Bloser handwriting because we like that style better. But I was wondering whether the multi-sensory ideas and letter stories that the HWT manual has would be of any benefit?

Thanks in advance!

There is good information & tips in the teacher's guides. I have owned every one from K level on, and we are in cursive now. They are cheap, and worthwhile for the low price. Plus, inside each one there is a code that gets you access to content on the HWT website. I would say they are not mandatory, but helpful imo.
