missmoe
My dd recently aquired a frog. Now our house is full of little fruit flies! Is there anything that can be done to rid us of the flies without getting rid of the frog?
Denisemomof4
are you SURE the two are related? I've heard of people HERE having issues with fruit flies, and I have IRL friends whom are having this issue, too. This year has been the worst year EVER for house flies for us. They will be gone soon and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!
missmoe
Yup, I'm sure they are related. The flies are coming from the frog tank. The frog tank has a screen on top. Has anyone ever put any other top on top of the tank and the frog's been okay? Any other helps I'm not thinking of?
Tammy
Fruit flies do not come from water.....their eggs are laid on rotting fruit/veggies. The larvae need food in order to survive.....and a frog pond isn't going to net any fruit flies. .
