The Global Classroom: A Guide to Study Abroad

Those of you with students who are seeking an international study experience might want to take a look at a book by Jeffrey Lantis and Jessica Duplaga, both professors at the College of Wooster. There are some interesting worksheets in the book to help guide students find the right sort of experience and then help them maximize it.

I saw the book sitting on the shelf at the library yesterday and grabbed it, thinking it would be a quick read. What I did not realize until later is that authors are from the college my son is attending. In fact, one of the authors directs the Off Campus studies program there. I was impressed with the sorts of questions they suggest students ask themselves when evaluating potential programs.

Best regards,
