Katrina J
Are there any Canadians out there who are able to tell me the the name of the handwriting style/s used in Canadian schools and where I might be able to download an example please? I'm working with a Canadian boy who never learnt to form his letters properly. The problem is that we form a number of our letters differently here in Australia and I would like to teach him the way he should have learnt to write in his French immersion school for when he returns. Many thanks if you can help. Katrina
sarawatsonim
Hi there, We have used the Canadian Handwriting Series in the past. I am not exactly sure if it is the same format they use in schools here though.
LuckyDuck103
At my old DD's school they were not really taught how to form letters. She ended up needed occupational therapy to help her hold the pencil & form the letters. Not sure if that's standard everywhere though...
