Renthead Mommy
I made my BEST chicken stock last week. And it make a lot. After making soup, I had two spagettie jars of just stock left. They got shoved to the back of the fridge (my mother was here so life was ... different:glare:). I probably made it last Tuesday or Wednesday. They have been sealed up, in glass jars (spagetti, not canning). Is it still good? How long would it have been good for?
Pippen
Provided your fridge is at a proper temperature it should be fine. If you're concerned, bring the broth to a boil before using it. http://foodsafety.wsu.edu/consumers/faq3.htm
Dobela
I have used mine after a week before, but it can vary. If it goes bad, you will know by smell for sure. I would freeze what you don't use today.
