lotsofpumpkins
We made a rocket for Apologia Astronomy, which uses alka-seltzer to launch it. I have a bunch of leftover alka-seltzer now, so I was wondering if there are any other science experiments we can use it for. We did make two volcanoes to see what would erupt the best: alka-seltzer with warm water or baking soda with vinegar. (Baking soda and vinegar are by far more exciting, though the alka-seltzer keeps bubbling for longer). Any other ideas?

cschnee
You can make a "lava lamp". Put oil and food colouring in a jar. Add alka seltzer tablet. Voila!
