After you do a search, click on full view to see the items that are not copyrighted and can be viewed in their entirety. Most of them can be downloaded in .pdf format.

Let's say you want to find primers for your beginning reader. Enter primer as your search term. When the list of hits comes up, click on Full View on the left side of the screen. Then click on the title of a book that looks interesting to you. On the right side of the screen, you can scroll down to view more pages. If you want to download it, look for PDF and click on it. If the book is not available for download, there won't be a PDF link.
