mooooom
I don't know what she's allergic too, but she develops an allergy to everything we've tried after a few weeks - Bullfrog last year. I'd like to try something with as few ingredients as humanly possible - we don't have a health food store around here - so I've been trying to look online but can't find anyone that lists ingredients. Thx
Cindy in C-ville
Ugh. I have struggled with this through the year. The only one I have found that truly causes NO reaction is Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Sunblock . The active ingredient is Titantium Dioxide. It blocks the sun rather than creating a chemical reaction. They may have improved the formula a bit, but I find it difficult to rub into their skin. It leaves them a bit purple. The biggest complaint I have is that it's not waterproof. So, you have to be particularly diligent about reapplying. With that said, we will continue to use it unless I discover something else that is better. Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide need to be the only ingredients for my kiddoes. HTH! Cindy
Leta
California Baby. It's expensive, but awesome- works well, great on sensitive skin. I also have instructions for how to make homemade sunblock if you are interested.
Carolyn in Ohio
Neutrogena or maybe Aveeno? Carolyn
Nestof3
California Baby. I'm buying some today! I'm going to check Target first, if not, I'll order online. Thanks!
Nestof3
I found some at Target! It was in the baby section. I also bought some Burt Bees because it's less expensive. This could be perfect for my boys. Oh, and I bought some Burt Bees shampoo and conditioner because my scalp is always itchy (perhaps I have allergies here as well). And, some Burt Bees peppermint soap, and some other organic lavender soap. My checkbook is low now, but perhaps my skin will be happier for it! Oakblossoms
I have sensitive skin, rosacea....you name it. Lavera. It's really expensive, but sometimes they have sales. I've been hoping they might start selling it through luckyvitamin or something similar. You could check their first. http://www.lavera.com/ For lower prices... I've had really good luck with Jason products and you can get them through discount online sales like drugstore, vitaminshoppe etc. http://www.jason-natural.com/ http://www.drugstore.com/qxp141566_333181_sespider/jason_natural_cosmetics/earths_best_organic_sunblock_chemical_free_spf_30.htm
