brendafromtenn
O.K. for our 8th grader we will be using the BJU space and earth w/HomeSat....... Do we really need $150 worth of lab supplies as reccomended by HomeScience tools? Could I substitute with labs from WTM book, "How the Earth Works"??? yinne
Brenda: The best thing to do is get the student book and/or TE and look at the investigations (labs) and determine which ones you want to do vs. which ones you are just going to have your dc watch. Then make a shopping list based on that information. The Mom's Minutes that came with the DVD's (I think it is the same with the HomeSat) also includes a brief description of each investigation and what scientific equipment, if any, is needed. brendafromtenn
Thanks bunches. Think we will do what we can and not worry about the rest. We have been homeschooling for a while, so I'm sure we have equipment. Thanks again, Brenda
