Jean in Newcastle
They are doing push-ups and exercises in the plank position. So any advice on how to address this? I do not want to avoid push-ups and exercises in the plank position for the rest of my life. I figure it has something to do with the tendons that go through my wrists? fairfarmhand
well, I have been known to do the plank from my elbows instead of my hands. Don't think it would work for pushups, but other things.

DianeW88
I hold hand weights when I do push-ups. It's much less stress on my wrists. I do planks resting my forearms on the floor. Works great! Works great! Yeah, or just make fists . That's what I usually do. I have bad tendonitis in one wrist especially, and I haven't been able to do flat-palmed push-ups for years now. Ailaena
I was going to say parallettes, but someone beat me to it! Something like this (even hand weights) should keep your wrist aligned better and won't hurt as much as fists will (i.e., fists hurt me:D).
