mom31257
Is anyone using this program, Spanishdict, for high school Spanish? Is it enough to count for high school credit, and if so, how many? What are your thoughts on it? Thanks so much! Teachin'Mine
I'm of no help. I've never heard of this program, but I googled and it looks awesome! I think that since it's less structured than a text, that it would be up to you to evaluate whether what they learn in a year's time qualifies for a full Spanish I credit. In general, language programs that are more speaking based are a bit lacking in formal grammar instruction and need to be supplemented. It's easy enough to get the grammar from a book, but this program looks great for getting real practice and for hearing it spoken correctly. :) I hope someone can actually help answer your question. :) I found the video of the final speaking exam, and it sounds like they cover a good bit of conversation and vocabulary. If nothing else, it's definitely a good start. Edited October 6, 2010 by Teachin'Mine
