I'm of no help. I've never heard of this program, but I googled and it looks awesome! I think that since it's less structured than a text, that it would be up to you to evaluate whether what they learn in a year's time qualifies for a full Spanish I credit. In general, language programs that are more speaking based are a bit lacking in formal grammar instruction and need to be supplemented. It's easy enough to get the grammar from a book, but this program looks great for getting real practice and for hearing it spoken correctly. :)

I found the video of the final speaking exam, and it sounds like they cover a good bit of conversation and vocabulary. If nothing else, it's definitely a good start.
