Are these Kalamata olives okay?

I bought a jar of Kalamata olives about 6 months ago for a recipe. I pulled them out of the frig to put into a Greek pasta salad I'm making for a church pinic tomorrow...and, the "Bested used by..." date is December 2007. Are they okay to use? Or, should I toss them?
