Holly in FL
I bought a jar of Kalamata olives about 6 months ago for a recipe. I pulled them out of the frig to put into a Greek pasta salad I'm making for a church pinic tomorrow...and, the "Bested used by..." date is December 2007. Are they okay to use? Or, should I toss them? Thanks! ~Holly
JFSinIL
Are there any white spots (mold) in the jar??? If not moldy, and taste ok - I'd go ahead and use them. They have been cured and in brine, so should be fine.
