cin
I'm starting to get geared up for the 40  Teacher gifts this year, and the snack mix I'm making calls for 1 cup of candy corn. I always have trouble finding it in the stores, so I looked online. It's sold in 6 lb increments. If anybody's really anxious to be helpful, I wouldn't mind knowing how much a cup of m&ms weigh, too. Annie G
A cup of Brach's candy corn weighs 6 1/2 ounces. My M&M's are mixed with Reese's Pieces so I can't give you an accurate weight on those. I normally have NO candy in the house but this is going to be a stressful week and dh and I needed sugar.g
sbgrace
I happen to have candy corn and a kitchen scale. A cup was 6.3 ounces (give or take, candy corn doesn't level). I don't have any M and M's. Ah, someone else answered I see. I'm slow!
KidsHappen
Yes, 6.5 oz. About the same for chocolate chips, m&ms, nuts and other such items.
