1bassoon
Stopping by before the insanity of today to change TWO ages: my youngest two turn 10 and 6, respectively, today. (Crazy) This week we've had an epiphany. I don't know if it's eldest suddenly interested in an out-of-state college, or if it's our youngest turning 6 - but dh & I are realizing that although we're in the thick of things right now, our parenting has an end (well, kind of). What is it about the youngest turning 6? A marker of some kind. . .I'm a little happy, and a little sad, all at the same time.
Jean in Newcastle
I think it is because 6 is not a baby or toddler or even a preschooler anymore. Congratulations on two birthdays!
1bassoon
Yeah - leaving one stage of parenting, entering another. :sniff:
