abbeyej
I need to order a bunch of eyelet for costumes I've been asked to make. What I found at the local Hancock was fine, but they're nearly out. Here's my question: Can I assume that *both* sides of this fabric are scalloped? I know what I saw at the store was either scalloped on both sides or not at all... Punkinelly
I would not assume anything. I would call or email and ask. Can't you get Hancock's to order for you so you can show them exactly what you want? Mary
Claire
You can't assume it. Seems to me a lot of eyelet fabric is sold with scallops along only one edge (for hems of skirts mostly).

Sometimes the company has more, it's just the store that's run low. Maybe that would do the trick? Dy
abbeyej
Thanks, everybody. I was hoping to avoid having to actually *speak* to any of the people at my local fabric store. ;) They're about as friendly and helpful as your average bag of potatoes... But I suppose I may have to, in order to get what I need. ;)
