simka2
Anything I can do to make this special/more educational? It is short notice...so I don't think there are any classes, but I don't know for sure. Any ideas?
GoVanGogh
Just wanted to say that I am super jealous! We love the Omaha Zoo, but live 600+ miles away. We visit the zoo whenever we are 'home.' When we were there in May, the trainers were in with the lemurs. DS loved watching the trainers work with the animals. The butterfly house was very educational, on its own. Have you been since they opened the sky rides? That gives you an interesting view of some of the animals. Yes, we went about a year and half ago and I think they had just opened. I loved the buterfly house!!!! My kids are already talking about it. Maybe I will just have them bring their nature journals. Punchie
Start w/the exhibits at the front of the zoo first, then work your way back. The bldgs up front tend to get crowded as the day goes on.

mo2
Oh my. I don't think you need to add anything to a trip to the Omaha zoo! That zoo is wonderful. Don't forget your camera!
