CalicoKat
any recommendations? Thought about running to Goodwill. Another way to save a step and still get healthy food into them. I've been baking bread for a while, just not with a bread machine.
chickenpatty
We just got one from the thrift store for $3. The only downside is that it only makes one smallish loaf, so maybe we need to get an additional machine. I LOVE how easy it is to have yummy bread! holdoll
I had one I bought from WalMart years ago. Don't remember the make, but back then it was about $50. Had it for 6 years. Then when we sold everything and moved, I had to give it up. After moving, I looked at the new prices and about choked. So I purchased one from a woman on Craigslist that said it was a wedding gift and she only used it once. It did look brand new. I got four uses out of it before it died. It's taken me a year, but I finally bought a brand new Breadman and love it! Even on Fridays when I make challah, it still does the dough for me and I braid it. I was making it in the KitchenAid my dad sent me, but the bread is so much more tender in the Breadman. I've got carpal tunnel and can't knead well, so it is a true blessing for me.
