brasilmom
Hi all, I saw a link to the site mentioned above and was wondering how many of you have a subscription to it. Also, is it worth? Would it be a good source for younger children, like 5 - 6 yo? I would like to hear what all have to say. Thanks. Be well Miriam
lisabees
One of my great finds last year!!! We LOVE The Happy Scientist. He provides great videos with explanations and simple experiments. It was great for my 6 - 14 year olds. We searched for topics as we hit them in science class, but you could also just pick whatever you'd like. There is just something about Robert Krampf. His clarity, his enthusiasm, his demonstrations. I highly recommend it!
freerange
I've only used the website subscription with over 7s, but prior to that we were on his experiment of the week email list for many years. The website is very good value, so unless it would mean depriving yourself of something mission critical (e.g. Chocolate) then I'd say go ahead. sagira
We truly enjoy The Happy Scientist around here. I correlate the videos to the topics we're working on. Even my 3-year-old enjoys watching him. So I would say it's a good investment for a six-year-old, and a five-year-old who enjoys science. HollyinNNV
Thanks for bringing this website to my attention. It looks really awesome, and reasonably priced as well. Holly
radiobrain
We love him in our house! Why not do a variety of his free stuff first to see if you and kids like it.
