Overheard at local fair today...

Recommended Posts

I was shopping with my dds a few weeks ago and a mother handed her daughter a shirt to try on. It came with a scarf and her dd said they weren't allowed to wear scarves to middle school because they are considered a weapon.:001_huh:

How times change. When I was in public school (in the US) the boys would bring their shotguns/rifles INTO the class during hunting season because no one really wanted to leave them on the rifle rack in the truck.

On Haloween I dressed up as a warrior, complete with spear and razor sharp machette. We tested the machette by hacking apart pumpkins.

The good old days when a fight with another boy stopped at fists.
