I used it for one month to find a good doctor. I would say it was worth the one month fee to search doctors, get reviews, etc. Finding a new doctor is always so hard.

Yes, I definitely saved the cost of the membership by getting good quality, affordable workmanship. I've used it for gutters, heating, glass repair, and carpets and have always had good experiences.

I've been a member since we moved to this city 2 years ago. I check it regularly for all sorts of home maintenance people, and I have generally found the ratings/comments to be helpful. I think that the highly rated vendors tend to be on the pricey side, though. I want the magic handyman that does brilliant work for $10.00 and hour. :lol: I'm not finding him on Angie's List.

I signed up for Angie's List this year. Much of the time I cannot find as much good information on their site as I can on Kudzu. Kudzu is free and has been very helpful to me. Our small family business even has 5 ratings on it (none on Angie's List).

Sorry, but my husband is self employed and if you were paying someone $10/hr, it would be a crap job. There are usually some people that try and get him to come down on his bid, but he has to make a living. Things like Health Insurance are very expensive for the self employed.
