Mosaicmind
I enrolled all 3 of the boys in VP's free trial of their online self-paced history course. They are all doing the Middle Ages. I needed something for them to do until I can get the rest of their history books and since it's free, I thought we might as well try it. It's pretty challenging. I liked the way the instructors talked to the kids and explained things. My ds/10 thought the songs were a little hookie, but he will live. For a free course I am not complaining. I don't know if I would spend the $250 for them to get the full course, though. Plus I would have to buy the cards and literature to round it out. Heather in VA
We are doing Old Testament/Ancient Egypt - the full course. My daughter absolutely loves it. She is grasping history in a way she definitely wouldn't if I was just teaching her. She's a very visual learner and the interactive way the course works is fantastic. wy_kid_wrangler04
What is VP? Veritas Press? Or am I way off? What free trial is this?
Mosaicmind
Yes, it's Veritas Press and they are offering a free 30 day trial of their online self-paced history courses. I believe another one will start Oct. 15 which covers 1815-Explorers (?) I might sign oldest ds up for that one too. Doesn't hurt and they all seemed to like them.
