amyrjoy Posted September 8, 2010 Share Posted September 8, 2010 And things are going pretty smoothly with teaching two children for the first time. But I've realized I really pushed my DD last year. Seriously, I don't know what I was thinking. I was a real stickler about the hours we put in, but this year, um..no. I'm focusing on quality not quantity. This year, as a second grader, things are easier to implement subject wise. Maybe it's the curriculum I chose, or that it's NOT my first year homeschooling. At any rate, I am not getting the heartache from her about math and spelling like I did last year. And I don't feel pushed during the day. Go figure, more to teach and I'm less stressed. Lol.
